Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit was an Indian actress who is known for her roles in the movies 'Beta' "Saajan," and "Hum Hain Koun' . Her career in the industry began in the late 1980s. She gained fame through her performance as a supporting character in the film Tezaab. Then, she appeared in the movie "Dil" in which she shared screen space alongside Aamir Khan. She was born in Mumbai by an upper-middle class family. From a young age, she began to learn dance. She attempted acting when she was an teen and it was not easy. The majority of her initial films failed. She was successful, and eventually, she would become a top actor in the Indian film industry. She was forced to stop her profession following her wedding before returning to the entertainment business. She was also an important part in the film "Gulaab Gang", which focused on the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit was nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of these awards were hers. She was also honored with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India. She is also famous for her charitable work.
