Hossack is from Canada. Steinbach. She grew up within Killarney Manitoba and took part in musical theatre plays while a student. As she began her Brandon University education, she took a major in piano. But, she changed to majoring in vocal. Following a brief stint on stage, she stated that her main interest was acting. After completing her studies at Brandon she attended Banff School of Fine Arts. Hossack when she finished her college studies and performing on stage, was a star in Ontario and Winnipeg. Other World (1989-1992), Cobra (1993-1992) and Profit (1996), Hope Island (1999) as well as Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital 2004. Her Canadian television show as Falcon Beach was in 2006. Hossack made guest appearances on television shows like Sliders, Mysterious Ways, and Mysterious Ways. In the TV series Reaper She played Mrs. Oliver. Deanna Campbell was also her mother Mary Winchester, and maternal great-grandmother of Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester. Hossack can also be a crooner and lives in Toronto.
