Actor and country-pop singer and songwriter Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the crew in One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. She was featured in several episodes as a brand new country singer, which helped her album to reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album that followed it in 2015 also made it to into the Top Ten. In the last decade, she was a guest on Dancing with the Stars as she did in TV films and various TV programs. She also released several singles, but they did not appear on albums. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to the country genre, and eventually went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. She first made an acting debut when she was a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. Following a couple of guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role on NBC Friday Night Lights in the second season of 2007-2008. Kramer then appeared as Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 until 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. The actress was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she stayed up until the final episode in 2012, about halfway through. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time as Alex Dupre, on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted contemporary country song I Won't give up in a 2011. One Tree Hill episode. In mid-2012, the track was released on her debut entire album Jana Kramer. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. She continued to act in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. I Got the Boy - a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, singing a duet on to make it into the top ten spot on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her stint in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th-place final. Also, it was the year that she landed an adult contemporary hit, with Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
