Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are among her numerous credits as an actress. Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness Project, and is an integral part of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. The GI-TOC's research activities focus on assassinations, disappearances and various forms of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economy. Her interests in research also encompass the effect of organised criminality on human rights, as well as the impact of policies and laws. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. She also holds the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations through Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with an MAGNACUM LOVE degree in Legal Sciences and Social Sciences. She is a lawyer by training who spent four years in a public law litigation firm. Her past experiences also included assisting roles at non-governmental organizations that are headquartered in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
